Export to Dropbox
Mapit GIS can export projects and layers directly to your Dropbox account. Files are stored in the /Apps/Mapit GIS/ app folder on Dropbox, making them easy to access from any device or desktop.
This is useful for backing up field data, transferring projects between devices, or sharing files with colleagues.
- Android
- iOS

Disconnecting
To unlink your Dropbox account:
- Open Settings → Remote Connections → Dropbox.
- Tap Disconnect.
This removes the stored tokens from the device. Files already uploaded to Dropbox are not affected.
Dropbox export requires the Import/Export entitlement, available on Pro and Pro+ tiers.
Direct Dropbox integration is not currently supported on iOS. This feature is on the roadmap for a future release.
In the meantime, you can export your project or layers using the iOS share sheet and then upload the file to Dropbox manually via the Dropbox app or Files app.
