On iOS, external GNSS receivers can connect over TCP/IP NMEA, Bluetooth BLE (Nordic UART Service), and Bluetooth Classic. Bluetooth Classic on iOS uses Apple's MFi-certified accessory framework and is currently whitelisted for the Eos Arrow series only - other manufacturers are pending Apple MFi approval. Android supports all of the above plus USB serial and vendor companion apps.
Free tier limits
The Free tier is fully functional for small projects and evaluation:
- 1 project - enough to try out the app
- 3 layers per project
- 20 features per layer
- Limited import/export - basic formats only
Upgrading to Pro removes all of these limits instantly.
How to subscribe
Mapit Pro is available as an annual subscription through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Open Mapit GIS
- Go to Settings → Subscription
- Tap Subscribe to Pro
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your device's subscription settings.
Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, your subscription is automatically restored when you sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account.
